Aion Kinouri was the founder and top member of the Legend Hunters, a group of people who investigate legends and magic items. But, Aion eventually resigned, for he felt he needed to move a life that was a bit less demanding. What he didn't know was that of the operatives had something in mind that would change his life… Forever.

It was the day Aion resigned from the Legend Hunters. He had just gotten home. He wasted no time changing out of his Legend Hunter uniform and into a much more comfortable outfit, a silver grey long-sleeved sweater, a pair of jeans, and sandals. He then went into the living room.

Then, Aion saw a note on the table, he thought to himself, " someone left me a note… I'd better read. " Aion picked up the note and read it:

"Dear Aion,

I'm sorry about asking you to do this, but you're the only I could trust with this info. Ok, deep in the forest near your house, there is a medium-sized gem on the other side of the river. The gem is filled with special magic, and I want to know what is does, but I'm on duty for the next week, so can you take a look for me. I can make it worth your while.
                                                                                                                   Sincerely, Alicia"

Aion put the note down and said, "Alicia, my old friend, I'll do this for you, not a member of the Legend Hunters, but as a friend." Aion then headed in the forest, unaware of what awaited him.

Aion walked through the peaceful and beautiful forest, watching the young wildlife in play. He said, "The forest life is so playful today." He then continued through the forest and arrived at the river. He saw something and hid in the bushes, for down at the river were three grey wolves, one adult and two children, one older than the other.

The younger wolves were each getting a drink of water while the adult kept watch. Aion watched the adult and thought to himself, "must be the parent, protecting its children. " the young wolves were soon done, and the trio then ran back into the forest. "It looks like I can move on now," Said Aion as he made his way to the river. He then used the stones to jump his way to the other side.

"Ok, so where is the gem," Aion said, since he didn't see a gem of any kind. But then he felt some strange energy nearby, he decided to check it out, so he went up north, along the river. It wasn't long before he reached the source, sitting on a tree stump, was the gem.

Aion could tell it was the gem. It was emanating a lot of magic energy from it. It's was no doubt what he was looking for, so there was only one to do: find out what the gem's magic could do.

Aion carefully approached the gem, he then moved into a circle around it, to see if it was completely safe. Seeing that it seemed safe, Aion reached out his hand to touch the gem. He hesitated for a few minutes; he then went ahead and placed his hand on the gem. The very moment his palm touched the gem, Aion felt a strange power enter his body. Aion quickly backed away and said, "Whoa, what was that?!?!"

Aion then felt a tingling sensation in his hands and looked at them, he then watched in shock as his hands twist, deform, and change into paws.
Aion looked at his new paws and said in shock, "My… my hands, they've become paws, but why?" He then felt his ears and nose beginning to change. His nose became black and wet, and his ears grew up a little and became pointy like fox ears. Aion gulped, nervous about what was happening to him.

Then, Aion felt something growing out from his pants; he turned to see that he was a growing a tail. Aion then realized he was becoming a silver fox. He then said, "The gem must have the power to turn humans into animal… but… I don't be silver fox… I want to stay human…"

Aion's pleas were wasted; he suddenly droped closer to the ground as his body started shrinking. He then fell onto all fours and looked at his now baggy clothing. He then said, "My… clothes… I've got to get out of them."

Aion slips himself out of his clothes and looks at his still changing body. His lower body and legs were completely transformed, and the silver fur was spreading up his arms and back. Aion said, "No… my body… it won't stop changing… please… I don't want to a silver fox." Aion gasped as he realized his body had shrunken to pup size, he then said, "no… I'm gonna be a fox pup."

Aion then one final plea, "please, I don't want to be a fox… don't this… to… me…" the final changes swept through as his face stretched out into a muzzle, his mind became fuzzy and began to change.

Aion was now a silver fox pup, mind included. All his human memories were erased and now his mind is that of a child, and the gem had vanished.

All Aion could think about was why he was all alone. Then, he heard rustling in the branches. He looked to see a human coming towards him, it was Alicia. She looked around and said, "now that I'm off duty, I investigate that gem."

She then saw Aion, but was unaware that it was him. Alicia said, "hello little fox, you must be lonely without someone to take care…" She came over to him, put him up, cradled him in her arms and then tickled Aion's tummy a little, and he enjoyed it. She then continued, "…well I'm gonna be your momma, I'll take good care of you."

Then, forgetting about the gem, Alicia took Aion to her house, where Aion now enjoys his new life as a silver fox pup, and back at Aion's house, the note that was seemingly written by Alicia had magically vanished along with gem.

i wish something like this would happen to me. except for the mind changeing part. i would give up almost anything to become a wolf, pokemon, or dragon but i would stil like to change the instincts.
