True Music: Character and Band Roster

Guiding Light
The Protagonist Band. They play their music for the purest of reasons- Friends, Family, self-expression, unity, and most of all, love for music. their songs come from the heart and are the best songs heard in years. In Music Battles, Their magic takes the form of a Blue Pegasus.

Kami McColley- a Grey Wolf Anthro, Synth and Lead Vocals. A Kind and Honest 14 year old that understands true music, and forms the band with his five closest friends.

Skipper Rolland- Anthro Red Husky, Drummer, Private and Shy but friendly, 15 years of age, makes music for the joy of it, part of Kami’s band. (ErictheLucario)

Eric Kennedy- Anthro Orange Raccoon, Electric Guitar. A responsible and smart 14 year old that plays not just for his own love of music, but also because little brothers, Mike and Mark, love music too.

Chester Foxtone- anthro orange fox, Bass guitar, age 15. Chester is a very kind -hearted and sharing type that is quite talented at bass and when he plays his bass guitar, he feels an incredible urge to play smooth jazz or anything that can make the situation more amazing and awesome. Chester wants to be part of a band that isn't in it for money or fame but rather just to meet new friends and have a rocking good time and enjoy every moment of it. (Justin-T-Hunt)

Neon Rose- Anthro Silver Fox, Tambourine, a kind and caring 15 year old. She’s the peacekeeper, settling arguments and providing fights. She’s also a big sister figure to the handful of little brothers and sisters the other members have, often playing with them. She joined the band because she enjoys music a lot. (TheNeonUmbreon)

Mystic Ranolda Heart- Anthro White Wolf, Various instruments (Depending on the Song) Back-Up Vocal and Alternate Lead Vocal. A strong-hearted, yet gentle fifteen year old. She plays for her family, having learned everything from them, and she hopes to find her missing twin sister. (RaeChan13)

Ice Wolf, Firing Heart
the first of the ally Bands. A good of kind people that play to inspire others to do good, having been inspired by Guiding Light. In Music Battles, their magic takes the form of a White Wolf. (Gmodder7)

Alex Collier- Anthro White Wolf, Electric Guitar, an Outgoing, Friendly, Kind, and Honest 16-year-old that sings to inspire others as he was.

Nikara Lynin- Anthro Brown Wolf, Rhythm Guitar or Bass (depending on the song). An energetic and self-confident 16-year-old, she plays because Music is fun and brings smiles to the faces of others. (Note, she has a soft for kids) (pokephantom99)

Jak Deimos- Anthro White Wolf, Synth and Piano. A quiet and serious fifteen year old. Having grown up alone, she plays to express her feelings and show others who she is. (Phenom-Jak)

Blitz Thompson- Arctic Wolf, Drums, Age 19. Calm, Collective, and Friendly, Blitz play To make new friends, and to take care of his younger brother, Blizzard. (ReadyUnknownFox)

Astral heart
the second of the ally bands, They like to make music for fun and have a talent for spotting up and coming bands. In Music Battle, their magic takes the form of a Shining Knight.

Regulus Vincent, Anthro black wolf with blue fur around his paws. Age 20. Has a blue left eye and a black right eye. Bass Guitar and backup vocals.  He sometimes plays a trombone as well if the music calls for it. Shy, Unsure, and Loyal, he plays To become more sure of himself. (regulus58)

Milo Baker, Anthro Grey Wolf, Lead Vocal and Electric Guitar. An honest and generous 16 year old. He plays music because he enjoys it, and because it makes his Cousins, Michael, Miguel, and Maxy, Happy. (spyrofreak01)

Quinn Dennis, Anthro White Lion, Synth and Piano. An smart and studious 17 year old. He plays because he’s grown up with Music, and he wants to learn all about Music. (Firework154)

John Nathan, Silver Fox Anthro, Bass guitar. A friendly, Loyal, and caring 20 year old likes to play with kids. He plays to make people happy, because he knows one of the purposes of music is to make people happy. (Jonesycat79)

Phoenix Zone
the third ally band, these guys are all about passion, for music, for life, for love. They are arguably the most passionate band out there. In Music Battles, their magic takes the form of  a mighty Phoenix. (AnimeFlygon)


Azrya Phoenix - phoenix - Azrya appears to be 16 and has a love of music since she was little. She studied vocals and became a songstress very young. She plays guitar and violin depending on the nature of the performance and is usually lead vocalist. Azrya is courteous and out-going, almost flashy at times and shows is seen extremely close to her twin sister Atyna. She keeps up with the latest fashion trends while adapting them to her name-sake heritage.  (Genises)

Atyna Phoenix - phoenix - Atyna appears to be 16. Unlike her sister, Atyna was not interested in music when she was little but became interested after her sister began singing. Atyna picked up singing as well as the guitar and violin too. Atyna mainly plays backup guitar and backup vocals for Azrya. Aytna is shy and but does open up once she gets to know them a bit better, although she remains conservative compared to her sister. She is also extremely close with her twin sister Azrya. Atyna doesn't worry about her appearance too much as Azrya helps her and assists her all the time with it. Atyna also owns a ultra rare Stradivarius violin which she shares with her sister from time to time.  (Genises)

Razor Phoenix - phoenix - Razor appears to be 19. Razor is the older brother of Azrya and Atyna. Razor, too, didn't start music until hearing Azrya's singing. Once be started, Razor gravitated towards the bass guitar. He also is a master at the synthesizer and assists his sisters from behind the scenes if he isn't required to be on stage with them. Razor appears to be distant and a bit blunt at times. Towards his friends he's nice and easy to get along with, but a bit hard to talk to due to an intimidating aura. He is also ultra protective of his sisters and will protect them no matter what happens to himself.  (Genises)

Astra Lighthart - eagle - Astra appears to be 17. The running gag with Astra is that no one knows the true gender. Astra has never revealed it and can often be seen as either depending on the needs of the performance, and doesn't mind when address as either one, even if its wrong. Astra plays the piano (or electric keyboard) with the Phoenix siblings often and is on super friendly terms with them. Astra is easy going, easy to get along with, and always going on about the various situations that occur due because of the unknown gender. (The only person to give Astra a fixed gender was Razor to protect Azrya and Atyna.) Astra appears with a windswept elegance and grace of royalty, even though there is no royal connection.  (Genises)

Darrik Kazin, Anthro Black Dragon, Mainly Piano, but can also play Guitar, sing Back-up Vocals, or play Trumpet depending on the need. Age 18. A musically talented individual, Darrik knows how to play many different instruments. Not the most social person, he loves to express himself through music, and learns fast. Darrik is very intelligent, but tends to have difficulty switching from one train of thought to another, leading many people to think of him as scatterbrained. Darrik plays piano or synthesizer as his primary instrument, but is perfectly happy to play guitar, trumpet, or even sing. Darrik is usually not good at making friends with new people, but has a much easier time if they share his interests. Darrik is creative and imaginative, and can sometimes be caught staring off into the distance, daydreaming. Having learned from an early age, Darrik plays music for the sake of playing music. It is his earnest desire to get better and to learn more. Darrik wants to turn his passion for music into a solid career, and so far has had success.(gamer-dragon)

Treble Eldrich
Species: Anthro Bat Wears purple and teal headphones around his neck at all times. Drums. 21. Likes to be wild at times, but is very friendly and eager to his friends and close ones. He cares deeply about his close family and friends and won't back down from a fight, especially if it's a music one. He plays to find acceptance and to express himself where he'd like to, to express to friends he'd like to be with and who'd be close to him. (TheTyphlosionMaster)

Infinite Sound Level
the fourth and final ally. when they play music, they play strong and proud, loving the sound, and sharing it with those around them. In Music Battles, their magic takes the form of a Blue Dragon. (inspired by LevelInfinitum)

John Terrell, Anthro Blue Dragon, Lead Vocal and Electric Guitar. A selfless and caring 17 year old. John plays because he loves music, but he also needs the money to help support himself and his brother Jason, especially since jason had to get his arms replaced due to an accident. (LevelInfinitum)

Ken Grove, Anthro Deer, Back-Up Vocal and Bass Guitar. A gentle and Kind 10 year old prodigy in music. Under John’s care, Ken looks up to John and plays to make John proud and to show the world that even a kid can be good at Music.

Gin Scarburst, Anthro Grey Wolf, Synthesizer ( and Violin, in case of orchestral rock), 18 years-old. Friendly and Hyperactive, but has a short fuse. He plays... simply fo the fun of it. he thinks that if someone have a talent they should share it with the world, so he's just doing what he thinks. (GinTheWerewolf)

(Note: While these bands do have passion for the music, they still care too much about other things. Wanting more than they should)

The Sirens
The first of the enemy bands. An all girl band that plays primarily for their obsession with fame, craving the attention. In competition, whenever tough opponents come around, they never like to risk defeat. So they will find things held dear to members of the opposing band, take them, and use them to blackmail said band into either dropping out or letting the Sirens beat them. In Music battles, their magic takes the form of a Dark Red Hydra.

The Sirens all have three themes that are constant:

cold and cruel personalities
Condescending or Seductive lyrics
hatred of gentle music

Eliza Twilight, Anthro Grey Wolf, Lead Vocal and Electric Guitar. She is conniving and cruel, willing to do anything for fame. Eliza is a master of hypnotic magic, often hypnotizing the people cherished by opposing members, luring them into capture.

Maria Young, Anthro Weasel, Back-Up Vocals and Bass. She’s sneaky and a bit of a jerkwad.

Carla Bonita, Anthro Raven, Back-Up Vocals and Synth. She’s an idiot.

The Blackwings
the Second of the enemy bands. These guys were nothing more than greedy con men and women and dove into using music to get people to do what they want. Comprised of the leader and his two buddies with their girl friends rounding out the list, the band is pretty versatile in terms of what music they can do with their leader being a good song writer and the rest of the band knowing multiple instruments. Like the name says, they're all birds though the species varies widely and most of them don't even have real black wings offstage. Eddie Ebonfeather. Anthro Crow. Electric Guitar and lead singer. Age 28. This guy is nothing more than a versatile and talented Con man just like Eddy from Ed, Edd and Eddy. Unlike Eddy, he has a pretty good amount of self control and knows when to call it quits. He was the one who founded the band. Eddie wanted a larger group of con victims and an excuse to travel away from his small town. He saw music battles as the way to do these things and make a good amount of money on the side. Laura Lawrence. Anthro Chicken. Drums. Age 18. The groups head songwriter, she's Rudolph's girl friend and something of a jerk to other people though she makes sure to be honest and civil with her own band mates. She got Rudolph to go with the band as she always dreamed of being a musician, something her uptight, coddling and smothering parents would never allow. (gottemsquickfoot)

Rudolph Tailor (is of British descendents), Anthro Red Tailed Hawk, Electric Cello. Age 19. He is cold and distant as a result of an abusive childhood but if you know how to you can get to the funny and outgoing guy inside. He just wants to be loved and accepted but, is going about it all wrong by being a member of an evil band, the blackwings (golddelucario)

Chica. Anthro Condor/Vulture hybrid. Piano. Age 25. Already married to Eddie, this caring but scary looking bird become a band member to provide for her large family which is in desperate need of cash after the father and mother skipped out of town to avoid a large gambling debt. Her family is about twelve members strong and all of them adore their eldest sibling and make sure to help pay off their parents debt. She is a saint with children and can easily take care of large families when needed. She wants to help her family however she can. (gottemsquickfoot)

Nightmare Void
the last of the enemy bands, they’re in it for the money, not to pay the bill or put food on the table, just to put food on the table, just to fill their bank accounts. They are the easiest to defeat and the first to go down. In Music Battles their magic takes the form of a Nightmare Horse. (Crush40Queen)

Snapper, Anthro Snapping Turtle, Base Guitar and lead singer, Age 38.  A band member who once had it all before a plagiarism lawsuit revealed his band had stolen their song lyrics from less talented bands, he is thoroughly bitter with his life and blames everyone but himself for his plight. He also takes out his anger on everyone else. He plays for Money and Glory. (gottemsquickfoot)

Carly Carson, Anthro Orca, Drums, Age 24. Greedy and not particularly smart due to many blows to the head during  bar fights, she is easily fooled and only serves the group as a stabilizing influence. She does have a cruel streak a mile wide and if she gets a hold of their competition like the Sirens, they will be beat up with a metal rod to sate her sadism. She plays because of boredom and stupidity.(gottemsquickfoot)

Otto Van Johnson, Anthro Otter, Piano, Age 19. A lazy, greedy and dishonest youth, Otto is the founder of the band after his rich parents kicked him out of the house and cut him out of the will after several of his scams hurt family friends. Even the other evil bands don't trust Otto and they avoid him like a plague due to his unethical and evil ways. he plays for Greed. (gottemsquickfoot)

Larry, Red Panda, Guitar, Age 24. A anthro who grew to hate the Sirens when his brother was killed in a botched kidnapping by the Sirens, he joined with Nightmare Void to have his revenge. He may look cute and fluffy at first glance but he is one of the band members Otto doesn't exactly trust due to his constant blood lust. Plays for Vengeance. (gottemsquickfoot)
