WPL Countdowns: Top 10 VG Allies

Ryan: Wolf-Prince-Leon here with a fun Countdown!

Matty: And as usual, it's me, Kit-The-Wolfy, here to fuck it up.

Ryan: In many video games, Characters don't fight alone, they have others helping htem out, either directly in the action or in the background, sometimes theres specifically an Allie Mechanic. But, Which Allies do their job the best?

Matty: That's what we're gonna find out.

Ryan: now first of, these allies can be In battle, at base, in the background, or secret.

Matty: Interesting.

Ryan: And as usuall, only games we've played, and... we're TRY to do only one per franchise.

Matty: Mmhm. Let's begin.

Ryan: OK!

Both: Let's do this!

*Number 10*

Ryan: in Star Wars battlefront, you play as a soldier in an army fighting to conquer the Galaxy, you're either part of the Rebel Alliance, Galactic Empire, The Republic, or the CIS Droid Army.

Matty: I see. I wouldn't know, I dont like Star Wars.

Ryan: But don't forget, the character is a soldier in an ARMY!

Number 10: the Army in Star Wars Battlefront

Ryan: you're shooting and blasting your way to command posts alongside at least several other soldiers, and the command mechanic lets you have up to four other soldiers follow you.

Matty: That's cool.

Ryan: buuuuuuut... they're only number ten due to having paper flat Personality and don't really have a major role.

Matty: Hehehe.

*Number 9*

Ryan: In Legend of the Guardians the Video game, your character gets three wingmen.

Number 9: Parcival, Streak, and Uria, from Legend of the Guardians, the Video game.

Ryan: they fly with Shard during each mission, and SHard can send them against enemies on a whim.

Matty: They seem kinda... overly obedient...

Ryan: they have a little more Personality then number ten, but are still pretty much 1D, and you're right Matty, they're a bit overly obedient.

Matty: :3

Ryan: let's face it, most of the allies in Legend of Zelda or 1D and not really that good, and don't help that much, right Matty?

Matty: Yeah.... *peeved*

Ryan: BUT! there was a group that was a help to Link.

Number 8: The Resistance  from Twilight Princess

Ryan: A Group of people trying to help save the world, Telma, Auru, Ashei, Rusl, and Shad. First off, in the Mirror of Twilight quest, Each one put you on the path to the dungeons with each piece. But that's not why they beat 10 and 9.

Matty: Why?

Ryan: In the final dungeon, when Link is about to be attacked by a small army, THEY come in a take the enemies out, clearing the way to the Boss Key.

Matty: Neat!

RYan: but other than that, they don't do much, but they are a big help, making them 8.

*number 7*

Matty: No. 7?

Ryan: Okay, Mario has had LOTs of Allies in his games, each one helping him in a special way. But EVERYONE knows his best allie, behinds Peach, Luigi, and Toad, IS-

Number 7: Yoshi, from the Mario Series.

Ryan: YEP! the cute Dino!

Matty: ...meh.

Ryan: You don't think so?

Matty: I never liked Yoshi.

Ryan: Skip then? I can skip to number 6 if you want.

Matty: No, explain why Yoshi's good.

Ryan: yoshi serves as Mario's mount, letting him get around fast and eats baddies in the way.

Matty: ..Vore Central up in here. XD

Ryan: but... that's about it.

*number 6*

Ryan: there are allies out the WAZOO in the Megaman games, ALL the series. It was hard picking just one series. With Honorable mentions to Mayl, Dingo, Protoman, Roll, Sonya Strumm, and Bass... I had to go with the allies from X.

Number 6: Zero and Axl from Megaman X

Matty: Oh?

Ryan: Allow me to explain, Zero was the final and greatest creation of the Classic Mega Man's villain, Dr. Wily, but due to reprogramming and loss of a virus that controlled him, Zero became one of the Maverick Hunters best operatives. Axl is a prototype of the new gen Reploids, which isn't bragging rights since those Reploid can go maverick at will.

Matty: ...Wow. :I

Ryan: Zero wields the Z-Saber one of the Lightsaber knock-offs i mentioned, but he does know how to use it, slashing , spinning attacks, Shockwaves, and much more when he gets his own game, the Zero series. Axl uses a Pistol with RAPID FIRE and can SHOOT IN ANY DIRECTION!

Matty: ...neat.

Ryan: and it only gets better from here.

Matty: ...Hmm? What's that?

*number 5*

Ryan: in Star Fox... I need say no more.

Number 5: Falco, Slippy, Krystal, and Peppy from Star Fox.

Matty: ...huh?

Ryan: the Star Fox team?

Matty: Yeah, but why are they good? Peppy's weird, Falco's an egotist, Slippy's... I dunno, and Krystal is the furry fandom's sex slave.

Ryan: ...They're butt kicking, They defeated Andross (THRICE), The Aparoid Queen, The Angler Army. Falco even becomes a smash bro with Fox. ENOUGH SAID!

*number 4*

Ryan: Sonic has three main allies.

Number 4: Tails, Knuckles and Amy, from the SOnic Series.

Matty: Oh. These bug-eyed weirdoes.

Ryan: tails is a two tailed fox, a smart boy, able to build machines. Knuckles is an Idiot-

Knuckle: Shuddup!

Ryan: that can punch the living daylights out you.

Matty: Finally, Amy is the creepiest of the Mobians- madly in love with Sonic, she teeters dangerously close to being a yandere.

Ryan: but when the world is on the line... they work together with Sonic to become heroes. Needless to say, they're a good team.

*Number 3*

Ryan: In Kid Icarus Uprising, there are TWO allies that kick SO MUCH BUTT alongside Pit.

Matty: Let me guess, one of them is Pittoo.

*Dark Pit grabs Matty's shoulder*

Dark Pit: What Have I said about that?

Matty: *slaps Dark Pit*

Number 3: Dark Pit and Magnus from Kid Icarus Uprising.

Ryan: Dark Pit is a dark Clone of pit created by pandora. But he's an Anti-Hero, not good or Evil.

Dark Pit: Got that right, I could teach the people on both League of Legends and Wild Warriors a thing or two!

Matty: You're not supposed to know Wild Warriors exists...

Magnus: I did a little gossip.

Ryan: Well, Magnus is a Human with exceptional strength, able to fight out underworld demons and do JUST FINE!

Matty: Plus he's pretty cool!

Magnus: Thanks, I try. So are there humans in Wild Warriors? I could be a--

Ryan: NO! Not DLC!

Magnus: *backs off* Jeez... jerk.

Ryan: Sorry, I don't do DLC, I don't event packages.

Magnus: Oh... I could be an event character.

Ryan: *Smiles* Anyway, Dark pit and Magnus can be played in certain chapters, and don't shine as much as Pit himself. that's why there's number three.

Ryan: In Kingdom hearts, allies vary. But I had to go with the Allies for KH3D.

Number 2: Spirits from KH3D

Ryan: Spirits are the good Dream eaters, you create them, raise them, and they fight with you in battle, my favorites are Cyber Yog, Aura Lion, and Pegaslick. But number one has so much more. Recap! Number Ten: The Army.

Number 5: Falco, Slippy, Krystal, and Peppy

Ryan: there was NO WAY it could be anything else, they're the ultimate allies, making peoples dreams come true.

Number One: Pokemon.

Ryan: Pokemon are very special creatures, able to achieve amazing feats.

Matty: Such as?

Ryan: Pokemon can breath fire, and other powers. Many Pokemon can use unique attacks to defeat opponents. Anything to add?

Matty: Why are they good allies?

Ryan: ...well... Don't take this the wrong way, But Pokemon help Trainer achieve their goals. Not Counting jerks like Silver from Gold and silver or Paul from the Anime, Trainers and Pokemon work together, grow together, and bond as friends, becoming better as a team.

Matty: I see.
