Ricky loved exploring, but one day he got himself in a bit of a tough situation. It was break time at the orphanage, which is when he usually takes time out to explore the surrounding woods. He went in, as he usually does, but he decided he should go further in, to see what's in there.

the deeper part of the wood seemed not so different from the rest, trees, bushes, flowers, and an animal or two here and there. it seems to all be the same except for an unusual amount of mist. The mist gave the area a creepy and mysterious vibe. It also made Ricky feel extremely lonely and scared for the first time since he slipped in.

he then felt something rubbing against his leg. He looked down to see it was a wolf pup, but this wasn't like any run-of-the-mill wolf pup. its eyes seem plastic and it didn't look like it had real for more like the kind you see on stuffed animals.

"Huh, that's weird," Ricky said to himself. "I wonder who would leave their wolf plushie here?" He then began to wonder if other kids came in here before he did.

the Wolf plushie then look straight up at him, letting him know that it was alive, surprising him. "Ah!" he shouted. "You're...You're alive!" He felt silly addressing the plushie like that, but it was the first thing that came out of his mouth.

the Stuffed animal did not seem surprised at all by his reaction. It was as if it had heard that reaction 100 times prior to meeting the boy. it then turned and Gestured for the boy to follow it and ran to the East.

"Hey, wait!" Ricky shouted, going after the plushie. the chase lasted for about 10 min. he then lost sight of the living toy, but found a cave. "Plushie? Are you in here?" he asked into the cave. It looked dark and spooky, and Ricky did not want to go in there at all.

he then noticed that there was a stream of mist coming out of the cave, three streams in fact. He took a few steps backward, with the already creepy atmosphere getting even more so with the mist coming out.

"Where," Ricky stuttered, very scared indeed, "Where is this mist coming from? P-Plushie?" He looked around for his plushie acquiantance, but it was still nowhere in sight. the Plushie then sneaks up behind him and pushes him into the cave. "Ah, hey! No!" Ricky shouted, tumbling in and down an incline further into the cave.

When he settled down and came to, he noticed an eerie-looking glow coming from further in, where the mist was coming from. "H-Hello?" he said. "Is anyone there? Please help me...I'm scared..." He got up and began walking towards the glow.

"Who dares to enter my domain?!" a voice said. Ricky froze, feeling even more scared. "P-Please," he stuttered, feeling less able to control his fear, "I....Please...Help...." a Twister of Magic energy began to form around Ricky.

"Hey!" Ricky shouted, now feeling scared enough to run away. But the magical energy locked him in place, and he was unable to do anything but stand there and let it swirl around him. "What's...What's happening??" he screamed into the darkness.

"prepare to share the same fate as all the Animals trapped in my mist" the Voice said.

With that, Ricky started shrinking, his clothes slowly turning too big for him. Grey fur began to grow all over his body, while his skin was changing into felt. The fingers on each hand fused together, the skin turning into felt and his bones and muscles being replaced with cotton stuffing. Eventually, his hands turned into big floppy paws, like those of the wolf plushie he met earlier. He also lost all feeling in them.

Ricky screamed in horror as he saw his transfigured hands. "My hands!" he shouted. "They're....What are they??" his voice then disappeared completely. His voicebox was replaced with cotton. Once he realized he could no longer speak, he felt nothing more than absolute horror.

Meanwhile, as his feet were shrinking, they shrank in length and widened, all while they grew fur and the toes fused together much like his fingers. The bones and muscles there were turning into cotton as well, and these changes, along with the growing fur and the skin turning to felt, spread up his arms and legs. Eventually, his legs couldn't support him anymore, causing him to fall onto his behind, which was growing a long furry tail. Ricky slipped out of his clothes on the way down. He looked down at his body as the changes enveloped his pelvis and torso, replacing his vital organs with cotton as well. However, Ricky was still able to breathe, despite everything from the neck down turning full plushie on him. He was so scared, he just wanted to be out of this nightmare and be back in his bed at the orphanage.

But the worst was yet to come. Fur began growing on his neck and head next, with his ears moving to the top of his head and stretching and widening into wolf ears. Anywhere the fur grew, the skin turned to felt along with it. Ricky could tell he was close to being done, and he was completely helpless to stop or reverse it. Then his teeth disappeared and his nose turned black and hard, with the texture and hardness of a marble. His face pushed out into a lupine type muzzle, only soft with fur and cotton. Finally, his eyes turned into large black marbles. Once this was done, gravity flopped Ricky onto his back. He was now a full wolf plushie, with no hint of life in him at all.

Ricky was still able to see, he watched a figure approach him, it looked like a Wizard. "this is interesting... the intruder was a child" the Wizard tapped Ricky's tummy and within seconds, he was filled with life and could talk again. Ricky shook his head as he awoke. "Oh, my," he mumbled. "Was this all a dream?" The transformation made him drowsy and a tad confused.

"I'm sorry, the Protective spell i put on my cave transformed you into a Plushie, just like how the mist transformed the animals into Plushies" the Wizard said.

"A...A plushie??" Ricky asked. He then looked over himself, feeling scared and shocked again. "I've been turned into a plushie! But why?? Why would you do this to me??"

"the Protective spell i put on my cave transforms all who enters here into plushies, it's to keep my existance is hidden"

"Oh," Ricky uttered, now feeling bad for trespassing. "I'm really sorry, mister, I didn't mean to intrude. I'm sorry...." He then began crying, thinking that this was all his fault. "don't cry little one, it's going to be ok, i have a deal for you." the Wizard said. Ricky looked up. "A....A deal?" he sniffed.

"if you promise to keep my existance a secret, I will deliver you and two other living plushies of your choice to a caring child who will take good care of you." the wizard said.

"R-Really?" Ricky sniffed. "I....I can get a home?" The Wizard Simply nodded. "I've...I've never had a real home before," Ricky uttered. "That would....Be wonderful. But...The secret..."

"If people knew I Existed, it would be bad, very bad. so please, keep the Secret." the Wizard said.

But at this point, Ricky was just so excited at the prospect of getting a new, loving home that the wizard's existence really didn't seem that important to him. "I...I promise," he said. "I promise I won't tell anyone. As long as I have someone who loves me, I wouldn't care." He gave a weak but sincere smile to the wizard.

"Very Well, first, go into the forest and find two Plushifyed Animals to share this gift with." the Wizard said.

"OK," Ricky said, nodding. "And that reminds me, have you seen another wolf plushie around here? He's the one who led me here. And I wanna take him with me."

"that tricky little puppy, very well, now go find your second choice." Ricky nodded, and then took off back up the incline. "Oh, and thank you!" he shouted just before exiting.

The Wizard brings the WOlf Plushie to the cave as Ricky returns with a Plushified Doe. "So, I think this is it," Ricky said, nuzzling his new friends.

The wizard magically makes a Basket big enough for all three Plushie, "Lay in this all three of you." Ricky looked at it before climbing in with the wolf and doe plushies. "But how will this get us to where we need to be?" he asked.

the Wizard casts a Nap spell on the three. "you'll understand when you awaken." They all fell asleep, letting the wizard take care of the rest.

a boy named Leon was taking a break from his Birthday Party. "I didn't get any Plushies in my presents." He said, in an upset tone.

Suddenly, Leon heard a knock at the front door. "Huh, a visitor?" Leon said, walking toward the door. When he opened it, there was no one there. But he did find something: A large basket with two wolf plushies and a doe plushie. They all looked up at him with cute and gentle eyes. "whoa... Plushies... huh... a Letter." Leon said, he read the letter. "Magic Plushies? Can they really talk? ...unlikely." Leon said

"We can," said the first wolf plushie, the one with the marble eyes and nose. "My name is Ricky. It's nice to meet you."

"whoa, you really can talk... i'm Leon, nice to meet you." Leon said.

Leon McCloud was happy to accept his new Plushies. over the years he has taken good care of Rick and the other Plushies. Everytime one got a rip or something, Leon would let his mom sew them back up, good as new. Even when it was time to get rid of Leon's Toys, Leon Kept the three Plushies. when it came time to finally give them up, He didn't. he gave them to his Son who was just like him. Ricky and his two Animal Plushies friends were passed down through the Generations of the Mcclouds, and they were always happy.

As for the wizard....He kept a low profile, as he always did. But after Ricky came along, he vowed that he would give each animal or child that was turned into a plushie away to a child who would love and cherish them forever. One could say that one little boy made quite an impact on the wizard's hardened heart.
